The New, More Spacious Instituto Estelar Bilingüe in Liberia, Costa Rica!

In the month since our last post, Estelar’s staff has been busy remodeling the other half of the historic house to get it ready for classes. The teachers, receptionists, and director all put on their painting clothes and worked together to give our new space a much needed makeover.

Estelar staff painted the first coat together!

Gabriela, the receptionist, painted the furniture.

The results are pretty amazing, if we do say so ourselves! Everyone is commenting on how beautiful everything looks and how positive the atmosphere is. Here are a few before and after pictures so that you can see for yourself.

The old, depressing kitchen…

The shiny new kitchen!

A room that we turned into a classroom…

…is now filled with fantastic classes like this!

The old reception area…

The new reception!

How we found the house in October, 2010…

…and how it looks now. Estelar lights up the night!
